Microsoft Corporation Senior Software Engineer - AMC in Hyderabad, India

AMC (account.microsoft.com) is the 6th largest visited MSFT site and this is an opportunity in the AMC team that manages end to end consumer experiences for the devices, Xbox subscription, payments and billing verticals. Team has full ownership of these verticals with product being fully driven from India/Hyderabad IDC.

This team also owns the verticals from UX to backend MVS (Member View Services) layer which are large scale APIs that federate Microsoft account data from various MSFT services. MVS serves AMC, along with other public and private clients like Copilot and Microsoft Support etc.

Along with product development, we are a first-class experimentation team with proven results in retaining thousands of Xbox subscribers by personalizing games using AI and saving millions for Microsoft.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer on AMC / MV S team , you will play a major role in leading, designing and implementing features across the full stack using React, .Net, Azure, Kubernetes and AI. You will also be sharing responsibilities with your team members in providing live support and maintenance for our cloud deployments to meet or exceed our SLAs.

Qualifications

Required Qualification

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development.

  • Excellent communication skills and a team player

  • Proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering successful solutions at scale for Web applications and cloud services.

  • Experience building products across the full stack using distributed services ANDmodern front-end frameworks like React is a must . Deep technical expertise in EITHER backend or Web frontend is a must

  • Basics of ML concepts/algorithms and LLMs is a must .
