Position Overview:

The Assistant Practice Manager will oversee and streamline the day-to-day operations of healthcare providers and non-providers in outpatient clinics in the United States. The role involves implementing and managing schedules, resolving issues, and anticipating risks while providing strategic solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to improving processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the schedules of healthcare providers and staff, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

  • Participate in the development of strategic plans to support the organization's long-term goals.

  • Ensure all operations in respective departments are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.

  • Conducting meetings with senior management to align operational strategies with the overall mission and vision of the organization.

  • Resolving the issues or complaints faced by providers, non-providers & patients.

  • Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and provides strategic solutions.

    Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a Master’s degree in the management field.

  • At least five years of experience in the healthcare industry, including at least 2 years of experience as a manager or team lead.

  • Knowledge of the US healthcare industry and US insurance will be a plus point.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
