Job Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Fleet Manager (FM) is a very critical application to manage the Cloud environments, register customer and licenses. Fleet Manager is the core system for Change Manager processing and automation of Cloud environment patching and other system change tracking.

Fleet Manager is core system for tracking, automatic and managing the cloud environment activities.

Fleet manager is a secure system which provides ability for difference user will respective riles to manage the cloud related activities, it allows user to:

  • Manage Customers and related configuration.

  • Manage Customer Success Administrator/Viewer to assign customers.

  • Environment Administrators, Operations and Provisioning team view and manage the various configruation and setup properties at environment level.

  • Environemt schedules are planned thourh FM system

  • Data Ceneter and expair information is maintined in FM system.

  • Patch Bundles, Repository and Change Requests are created and life cycle is managed in FM system

  • Playbook and Runbook allows user to track and communcate to end user

  • User assign CRs to engineer and automated the system

  • FM System is integrated to various system like E2E, JC, ect. for CR processing activites, and get backa the status.

  • CR Processing allows user to track and update the status

  • FM System has robust notification functionality for internal and external communications.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the overall development effort and complete cycle of the project

  • Analyze complex technical situations and propose creative, effective solutions

  • Investigate existing and new technologies to build new features and integration points

  • Provide high-quality design, code and maintian product features using Oracle Fusion technologies

  • Interact closely with all the stake holders such as other Development teams, QA, Documentation, Release, Customers etc in ensuring eventual success of the product

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background from top-tier institutes

  • 2 - 8 years of experience in product development with Java and J2EE technologies

  • Experience with Java view technologies such as JSP and JSF and demonstrated knowledge of J2EE, Java, XML, Web Services, Micro Services, REST, Object-Oriented Design

  • Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, GWT, Spring MVC)

  • Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Programming

  • Good understanding Oracle Database programming including Database design, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Should be a fast learner and be able to collaborate with senior members / architects in the team

  • Ability to excel under under pressure

  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion ADF, SOA Suite, Web Application Automation Testing is a big plus, but not mandatory
