About the role:
The primary responsibility of this role is to
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality of FP&A relevant data (financial and non-financial) through effective data management and governance practices - to support automation, standardization and process improvement
Govern financial and non-financial master data related to financial reporting
Act as the owner of FP&A related blueprints, concepts and processes and ensure that they are being followed globally
The Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams - including finance, digital and business, to drive data governance initiatives and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.
Key responsibilities:
Govern and maintain the integrity of FP&A relevant financial master data (in SAP and other relevant systems like BOFC, Concur, Success Factors, etc.) as per defined blueprints. This also includes working strongly together with Digital Analytics and Digital data teams
Provide data quality measures that enable digital data teams to monitor and report on data quality metrics
Drive processes that enable alignment of data across systems. This includes working together with multiple Global Process owners
Identify areas of improvements within the reporting setup across systems, make practical change proposals and implement changes in structured manner
Drive change and ensure acceptance and usage of the new tools by the relevant user community - ensure that any changes are rolled out in a well-managed, properly communicated and efficient way
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure that established blueprints are maintained or correctly extended when implementing new projects
Collaborate and provide guidance for entities implementing SAP with financial reporting module
Collaborate with various internal stakeholders on providing support for automating reports, understanding data and concepts in the system
Maintain and establish updated documentation and data dictionaries
About you:
Bachelor / Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Economics
At least 6 -7 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis and / or Accounting in a multinational environment, preferably in commodities, manufacturing or FMCG
Solid SAP knowledge is a must. Especially familiarity with financial, commercial and material master data and processes that impact financial reporting
Proficiency in MS Office Suite especially with Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with data query/ data management tools extremely helpful (SAP BW, BO, Power BI)
Knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulations (e.g., SOX) is a plus
Experience with data management tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) is desirable.
