The senior financial planning and analysis (FP&A) manager has a key role in the coordination, consolidation and review of the yearly corporate budget exercise, including the preparation of the company’s yearly profit plan; supports the monthly reforecasting exercise of corporate projections; and prepares different financial reports and statements at the project entities, and corporate levels, including monthly financial statements. As required by the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting, and other members from the senior management team (SMT), the Senior financial planning and analysis manager builds analytical templates and tools, performs varied financial analysis to enhance the decision-making process and has a strong work ethic along with problem solving skills to meet the role’s demand and challenges. The position requires effective management of reporting personnel and relationships with various stakeholders for successful business support and leadership management. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Financial Planning

  • In coordination with the F&A director and executive leadership, leads the preparation of the corporation’s annual budget and multiyear forecast.

  • Coordinates with business lines and support teams to prepare the annual budget, 5-year forecast for Connexi’s valuation process, and Corporate Profit Plan.

  • Commercial accounting experience.

  • Supports consolidation of integrated budget and forecast information from business lines, profit centers business, and support units and prepare corporate pro-forma financial statements.

  • Serves as the main liaison for budget and forecast upload and troubleshooting process with parent company and other in-county accounting firms.

  • Performs duties in accordance with general US government contracting requirements

  • Manages corporate overhead and indirect costs through quarterly forecasting and monthly monitoring of the results.

    Financial Analysis

  • Develop analytical models and perform varied complexity and types of financial analysis to enhance the decision-making process of company leadership

  • Performs financial analysis using corporate tools and advanced analytical reports to propose actionable next steps to facilitate better financial management and decision making for the corporation and for its business lines.

  • Oversee the preparation of corporate and intercompany financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow; audit, adhoc reporting and other reporting requirements.

  • Advises company leadership of FP&A matters, communicating information clearly and concisely across a broad functional audience, including the board of managers.

  • Provide input to decision-making processes that affect the financial posture of the organization, including supporting the company’s priority outcomes.

    Other responsibilities

  • Initiate payment templates in the banking platform

  • Perform AR/ AP reconciliation against the bank statement.

  • Complete the monthly bank reconciliation statement in the system

    Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience, including financial management responsibilities; supervisory experience desired

  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting required; Master’s degree in finance or business administration desired

  • Experience as Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager are required.

  • Experience in compiling the financial statements is required.

  • Experience in treasury/ Bank reconciliation are preferred.

  • Experience as auditor in the public accounting firm is preferred

  • Strong knowledge of government contracting and indirect rates management is preferred.

  • Advanced level user of technology including MS Office applications, especially Excel including Excel solver, pivot tables, and macros, required. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI and SharePoint preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with changing deadlines and priorities.

  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills and ability to manage large volumes of data

  • Fluency in a foreign language is preferred but not required

  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility and integrity

    The Salary Range for this position is expected to be: $103,680 - $129,600.

    An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.

Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
