Apprentice Training Inc Carpenter - Apprentice program for Mechanical insulators - Start at $19 per hour with full benefits and complete at over in Hyattsville, Maryland

**[Starting Pay if selected as an apprentice mechanical insulator. [Take home pay is $19 per hour after Union Dues (3.5% and benefits (total pay is $26.97). Earn as you learn. No out-of-pocket fees like community college to be an apprentice. No application fees as well. While $19/hr. may be less than what you are making the quick rises in steps (every 1000 hours) lead to a pay rise every 6 months. In four years, you could make a combined wage and fringe on Federal Prevailing Wage public Work construction projects or State/City Prevailing Wage project such as schools and government building that are funded by the State (not counties). Our program will teach you everything to be a journey person or a working foreman in which case you could make higher than the prevailing wage or David Bacon wage rate. This is a job where all employees of the sponsor are members of the Union.

Where is the work? You must be able to get to the construction project sites during the week with your own transportation - Work is from Frederick to Aberdeen into Eastern shore and south o Quantico and west to Front Royal and Harper's Ferry, WV. We try to match job locations to where you live. Training is two evenings a week in Landover, MD. (4-8 PM). If you do not have a reliable vehicle with insurance and a valid driver's license you will not be hired. It is a requirement.
