Responsibilities: Garden Maintenance: Assist in the routine maintenance of client gardens, showcasing your skills in tending to perennial, annual, and vegetable gardens. Seasonal Expertise: Contribute to the installation, removal, and maintenance of seasonal container gardens, fall plantings, and holiday d?cor. Pruning: Conduct light pruning of ornamental shrubs and small trees, ensuring the health and aesthetic appeal of the landscape. Collaboration: Work closely with the Fine Garden/Horticulture Production Manager, contributing to the overall success of projects. Professionalism: Exhibit professionalism on and off the jobsite, maintaining a positive representation of Jaxtimer Landscaping, LLC. Logistics Support: Prepare, load, and unload trucks for daily tasks, maintaining the cleanliness of trucks, trailers, and equipment. Safety: Attend safety training and staff meetings as required, ensuring a secure and efficient work environment. Physical Tasks: Handle heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling of various gardening/landscaping equipment and materials. Driving: Safely drive a truck with a trailer for eligible candidates. Qualifications: Experience: Fine gardening/horticultural experience, including planting, pruning, and weeding, is preferred. Plant Knowledge: Basic plant identification skills are advantageous. Team Player: Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team, taking direction effectively. Physical Strength: Capability to safely perform heavy lifting and carry up to 50 pounds. License: Valid driver?s license is preferred, and willingness to train the right candidate. Compensation: Salary ranges from \$18.00 to \$25.00 per hour, with overtime regularly available. Schedule: Monday-Friday, with weekends as needed during the peak season.
