  • Assist with planning and implementing learning opportunities (lesson plans) that reflect the Centers goals and objectives and in collaboration with other Center staff.
  • Share responsibility for the smooth progression of the programming day.
  • Set up the classroom in learning centers, such as the drama room, reading, science, art, table toys, blocks, and music and be responsible for maintaining the same in an orderly appearance.
  • Prepare daily snacks and supervise the noon meal.
  • Provide a healthy and safe environment for the children.
  • Communicate daily with parents concerning the activities of their child.
  • Attend parent orientation, staff meetings, professional workshops, and 10 hours of in-service training per\ year.
  • Coordinate all facets of the Center with the Coordinator and be a team worker with all staff, students, and parents.
  • Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
  • Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Child Care Center Coordinator.
