Title:

Systems Engineer

  • IFPC (Indirect Fire Protection Capability) is conducting Development Test (DT) this year as a rapid prototype headed for Milestone C and a production contract. The PMO (Project Management Office) needs a Systems Engineer integrating force working with all disciplines/functionals to meet that goal technically and for documentation. They need a facilitator that can work at multiple levels inside and outside the PMO.

  • Position Tasks:

  • Documentation development of Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Plans, & Defense Exportability Features (DEF) studies.

  • Milestone C documentation, production contract statement of work (SOW), Contract Data Requirement List (CDRLs), Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Plan, Independent Government Estimate (IGE), Task Order Definition, Task Order IGEs, & Task Order SOWs.

  • Magic Draw (or modeling) experience to do the following: a) developing, updating, and understanding system models, b) incorporating system documentation in models c) flowing down and implementing higher echelon MBSE requirements.

  • Integration experience and ability to support Integrated Fires taskers, test campaign system requirements, supporting PEO Office of the Chief Engineer & Integrated Fires Digital Engineering taskers.

  • Technical program planning experience and ability to develop programmatic support documents.

  • Support technical maturation assessment development & other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • High School Graduate (or equivalent) with a minimum of 18 years in defense, industrial, or acquisition experience in the field of expertise.

  • Or a BS/BA degree in an engineering or technical field from an accredited college or university with 10 years of experience

  • Or a Master's or Doctorate in either a technical, business, or management area from an accredited college or university with 8 years of experience

  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance.
