Yulista System Administrator Associate (Windows) in Huntsville, Alabama

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

Work with a team supporting mission initiatives in a secure, isolated computing environment. Work with their peers, internal customers, and management to create a highly available, resilient, and standardized IT infrastructure. Install and update software packages from repositories or local file systems. Manage local users and groups with Active Directory integration. Troubleshoot issues that arise as well as look for issues proactively. Maintain a secure computing environment, including adherence to a backup schedule, patching of all systems, and applying applicable STIG settings. Perform root cause analysis and resolution for hardware and software issues

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, and 2 or more years of experience working in a related Information Technology field preferred Active Secret Security Clearance Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows systems in a mission-critical environment preferred Must have and maintain an active CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar certification meeting DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level I Must have and maintain an active MCTS, MCITP, CCNA, Server+, or similar certification to meet DoD 8570.01-M certifications required for the applicable operating system and/or security-related tools/devices for this position to meet the IAT Level I requirements While this position is an individual contributor, teamwork along with strong technical knowledge and skills will be essential attributes Ability to deploy, configure, and maintain Windows systems Basic network troubleshooting skills Knowledge of and troubleshooting skills with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016/2019 Ability to apply basic knowledge of Cyber Security concepts, practices, and procedures Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, and within the wider RGNext business units Ability to interact effectively with team members cross-functionally Effective communication skills Strong organization and task management skills Strong documentation skills Basic Windows firewall troubleshooting Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
