RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and guide multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in accordance with SAFe principles, ensuring alignment across teams and optimizing the flow of value.
  • Serve as a servant leader and coach, fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and continuous improvement across the ART.
  • Facilitate key ART-level events, including PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt, ART Sync, and Scrum of Scrums.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholdersincluding product and solution management, architects, and engineersto ensure strategic and execution alignment.
  • Manage risks, remove impediments, and track metrics to enhance workflow efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices, reinforcing a growth mindset.
  • Drive continuous improvement in PI Planning and other SAFe events, leveraging insights and feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience of real-world Agile coaching experience as a scrum master, agile coach, or release train engineer, guiding software product teams, divisions, or organizations through the varied challenges of adopting and scaling agility within an organization. Software engineering, program design and implementation, configuration management, or maintenance, integration or testing, and information system engineering.
  • Two years experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).
  • Deep understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters. Experience in leading and managing multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) simultaneously.
  • At least one SAFe certification. Scrum Master/ SAFe Practice Consultant 6.0 preferred.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Jira administration preferred.
  • Certifications highly desirable: SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
