Our employees are | | owners, each share in the commitment to deliver safe, reliable, and | | innovative Analysis, Planning, and Test Solutions and services that | | exceed expectations, build employee pride of ownership, and optimize | | shareholder value. | | | | Responsibilities: | | | | - Perform tasks focused on the development of software safety | | analysis, test, and contribution to potential safety risk. | | - Develop and/or update Software System Safety Program Plan, | | Software Safety Assessment Reports, Hazard Analyses, and System | | Safety Risk Assessments. | | - Ability to conduct bidirectional traceability from SRS through | | testing. | | - Perform peer reviews of software safety documentation and | | analyses including, but not limited to, Safety Assessment Reports | | (SAR), Hazard Tracking System, etc. | | - Review software and system test (STP, STD, STR) documentation for | | inclusion in software system safety related requirements and | | assess test data to verify/validate system safety requirements. | | - Perform technical Software System Safety Reviews and develop | | required documentation for Government acceptance to ATEC. | | | | Required Experience/Education: | | | | - Applicants must have a minimum of an ABET accredited Bachelors of | | Science (BS) in Engineering or Computer Science, or similar | | degree field and a minimum of 6 Years' experience. Advanced | | degree a plus. | | - Must be able to qualify as a Range Safety Officer/Laser Range | | Safety Officer in minimal time via EAMS online courses. | | - Experience in a DOD environment. Ability to work within and | | independently in an IPT environment. | | - Moderate to strong Software safety experience required with | | knowledge of MIL-STD-882E, Level of Rigor, safety artifacts. | | - Familiarity and working knowledge of MIL-STD-882E,DA Pam 385-16, | | JSSSEH. | | | | Security Clearance Requirement: | | | | - Current Secret level Clearance | | | | Preferred Experience: | | | | - Prior experience or background with Bradley Fighting Vehicle or | | other track vehicles. | | - Prior GVSC and/or AVMC experience a plus. | | - Experience with safety or mission critical systems aviation, | | aerospace, defense, or similar industry. | | - Local to Huntsville, AL area. | | | | Essential Job Functions: | | | | Work Environment: | | | | - Primarily remote work environment requiring attendance to daily | | IPT meetings.
