We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer that specializes and has a strong desire to work with artificial intelligence (AI)-based technologies, including machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) applications. In this role, you will contribute to new software development, both applications and algorithms. This opportunity will involve natural language processing (NLP) as well as processing of different kinds of documentation for context, requirements, and objectives identification. You will develop neural networks designed to be trained against different data types for inference on conventional and high performance computing platforms. You will participate in the integration of open source, commercial, and/or INTUITIVE developed tools and frameworks that will solve complex problems that are suitable for AI-based solutions. You will help guide stakeholder understanding on the training of ML/DL algorithms, appropriate identification and selection of training sets, and the application of training algorithms to solve problems. You will help mentor data scientists and software engineers on best practices and emerging trends in AI and its use against data problems. You will work alongside other data scientists, digital engineers, and software engineers to design and develop algorithms, predictive models, and AI-driven software to identify trends and patterns in big data with opportunities to learn and grow in a driven, successful team. To accomplish this, you will need excellent communications skills and to embrace a highly motivated team environment. You will need strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills to accomplish tasks efficiently.

Required

  • BS degree

  • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++

  • Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras

  • Three (3) years of relevant AI engineering experience.

  • Five (5) years of relevant software engineering experience.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Occasional travel

  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Desired

  • MS in an AI-related technical field.

  • Experience with developing GPU-accelerated machine learning and deep learning software against applicable frameworks

  • Experience with DoD or Army Defense programs

  • Strong proficiency in Python
