Integration Innovation, Inc Program Scheduler/Planner in Huntsville, Alabama

i3 is seeking anProgram Scheduler / Plannerto support a unique and complex Army engineering effort located in Huntsville, Alabama. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing high-level support and leadership. The position involves collaborating with civilian government personnel and a diverse team of engineering professionals to ensure project goals and timelines are achieved. The candidate can expect up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing the programs Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Schedule (IMS) to ensure that all activities, events, and milestones are logically linked and fully resourced, supported by analysis such as critical path, schedule risk, and variance analysis.
  • Ensures alignment and integration of the IMS with other key program plans and schedules such as the Master Phasing Plan, Critical Path Analysis, High Level Flow (HLF), and detailed schedules below the IMS.
  • Will assist in negotiating transitions regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required.
  • Produce and brief task completion progress reports.
  • Ensures the whole team is operating to the same rhythm, priorities, and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
  • 2-7 years of relevant experience required.
  • Proficiency with standard project scheduling tools and methodologies such as MS Project and Project Server, Milestones Professional, Earned Value Management or similar.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in related field of expertise at the program level, ideally in providing programmatic and/or systems engineering/integration support to major DoD acquisition activities preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience administering various contract types (Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, Firm Fixed Price).
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Contracts/Subcontracts terminology and business practices.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
