The Position:

KBR is seeking a seasoned Program Manager in Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test, to be stationed in Huntsville, AL.

This is a stellar opportunity for a leader with a solid track record in managing multifaceted engineering development teams and a passion for air and missile defense systems. The role demands a self-starter with a drive to achieve technical, schedule, and cost objectives while navigating risks. As Program Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and analysts in leveraging digital and model-based systems engineering methodologies to innovate, assess feasibility, and refine designs and upgrades for air and missile defense systems. Essential qualifications include U.S. citizenship with active Secret clearance and eligibility for Top Secret/SCI/SAP/SAR clearance, an advanced STEM degree, and over 14 years of experience in Engineering or Program Management, with a track record of leading system engineering tasks for large-scale weapon systems. Additional valuable expertise includes familiarity with rapid capability development, air and missile defense systems, and Unmanned Aerial Systems.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearance who is eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI/SAP/SAR clearance.

  • Advanced degree in a STEM related field.

  • 14+ years of experience working in Engineering or Program Management.

  • Experience in weapons systems design, missile systems design, or weapons systems performance analysis

  • Proven experience successfully leading system engineering activities across large-scale weapon systems

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with rapid capability development and rapid acquisition processes. In-depth knowledge of air and missile defense elements.

  • Experience with air and missile defense systems programming and analysis techniques. Familiarity with Unmanned Aerial Systems is a plus.

  • Demonstrated technical insights into the development, deployment and operation of integrated Systems of Systems.
