Nightwing is seeking an experienced, passionate, multi-disciplined systems engineer capable of leading multiple programs in a variety of environments. The CODEX Products Technical Integration Lead is accountable for the successful technical execution of product programs and product support activities. While aggregate execution accountability (e.g., cost, schedule, technical, etc.) resides within program management, the Technical Integration Lead will guide continued technical success by providing technical oversight to and across programs, working closely with PM to ensure quality and strong cost and schedule performance across technical execution. The Technical Integration Lead will ensure technical alignment across all product related activities, placing focus on use of common processes, tools, development infrastructure to drive synergies and efficiencies across entire product line. The goal of this role is to continue our on-program excellence, improve technical efficiency and effectiveness through lessons learned and insights across all product execution activities. The Technical Integration Lead must have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand their impact at the system-level. Extensive knowledge of DoD or government program processes and practices will be required; a strong background in software development and knowledge of cyber security, cyber resiliency, and anti-tamper technologies and specification is desired.

25-50% Domestic Travel anticipated.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Accountable for the successful technical execution of product portfolio related programs and support activities.

Primary interface with customer technical team on all aspects of technical program execution and help manage customer expectations.

The Products TIL will evaluate, make recommendations, and drive processes, tools, and development infrastructures used across product team programs to ensure quality, maximize commonality, improve efficiencies, and reduce overall product support costs.

The Products TIL will work closely with product managers, business development, and product leads to enable successful capture of new business.

Responsible for providing feedback on technical execution issues. Issues arise for multiple reasons including staff performance, risk realization, opportunities, changing customer requirements or expectations, or communication problems. The Products TIL will coordinate with other relevant parties in defining corrective actions and lessons learned to amend approaches and processes going forward.

Responsible for leading technical efforts associated with product team internal investment planning process. The Products TIL will work closely with product leads and product engineers to prepare IRAD project requests tied to product roadmaps and market opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

At least 10 years of professional experience in a relevant engineering discipline.

At least 5 years of professional experience in product or project leadership.

At least 5 years of System Security Engineering experience (Cybersecurity, cyber resiliency, zero-trust, Anti-Tamper, etc.)

Previous experience as cost account manager managing schedule, budgets, technical risks & opportunities.

Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts spanning multiple products and disciplines.

Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

The ability to deliver and receive constructive criticism.

Desired Skills and Experience:

At least 10 years of professional experience in a relevant experience in support of DOD Weapon System development program.

Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), Cyber Survivability Endorsement Implementation Guide (CSEIG) and Attributes (CSA), Anti-Tamper (AT) Technical Implementation Guide (TIG).

Demonstrated ability to lead all phases of software and firmware product development ranging from TRL 1 – TRL 9.

Demonstrated ability to lead successful product integration deployments across multiple programs.

Demonstrated ability to deliver product demonstrations and briefings to customers, present at technical conferences, and write white papers and proposals in support of business capture.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is required

Advanced degree in STEM discipline or business is desired.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
