KBR Operation Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama

Title:

Operation Analyst

KBR is seeking to fill an immediate position for a mid-level Operations analyst to support an Army Aviation Project Office. This position will support the Operations cell and will assist with coordinating communication across the PMO and out to external superior and subordinate organizations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Acting as initial PM point of contact (POC) for all shared products (briefings, reporting, etc.) and staffing such products through the Operations cell to manage PM workload to support prompt analyses

  • Participating and coordinating a wide variety of functions to include human resource management support, property accountability, facilities management and space utilization, administrative services, security, and administrative information technology

  • Providing advice to the PM and other managers on alternatives to achieve organizational, corporate information and goals and initiatives

  • Interfacing regularly with technical managers and senior staff on manpower resource requirements and allocations, infrastructure planning and business network operations

  • Performing complex administrative and technical services that directly affect the organization as a whole or represent a major segment of a program critical to the organization's ability to manage its mission

  • Leading special ad hoc management initiatives concerned with identifying existing and needed changes in organizational structures, missions, functions, workload, resources, and transition planning

  • Developing and articulating the Command’s operational requirements, prioritizing those requirements, and orchestrating support for those requirements

  • Proposing resolutions when analysis exposes possible issues

  • Focusing on horizontal and vertical connectivity and communication when orchestrating tasks to ensure critical actions are properly handled within prescribed timelines and taking into consideration identified mission and operational requirements

  • Translating strategic concepts and vision into operational objectives and tasks to posture the PM for success in executing future operations requirements and activities.

  • Demonstrate Project Office-level experience in the ETMS2 or similar tasking system used by PEO AVN to issue, manage and respond to U.S. Army and Department of Defense tasks.

  • Demonstrate experience in building robust Excel spreadsheets with thousands of cells of data and pivot tables to support managing data.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree from an accredit college and 8 years’ relevant experience

  • Skill in interpersonal relations to coordinate with others within and outside the organization on program accomplishment and collaborative efforts.

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, using Microsoft suite to prepare, develop and articulate the Command’s operational requirements or provide advice to the PM and other managers on alternatives to achieve organizational, corporate information and goals and initiatives.

  • Ability to plan and organize work to perform a wide variety of functions to include human resources, property accountability, facility management and space utilization, administrative services, security, and administrative information technology.

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and present facts to identify existing and needed changes in organizational structures, missions, functions, workload, resources, and transition planning.

  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team to lead special ad hoc management study teams.
