Aviation & Missile Solutions New Mexico State University Full-Time Fall 2024 in Huntsville, Alabama

Job Descriptions:

Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) is seeking talented entry-level college graduates to join a diverse team in Huntsville, AL., to create unique solutions for complex problems. AMS provides responsive, cost-effective engineering and scientific solutions ranging from air and missile defense technologies, command and control, radar systems, seekers, modeling & simulation, and prototype hardware development and testing. Our recruiters will be on the New Mexico State campus on September 18th, 2024, looking for students majoring in the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Testing and Field Support and Computer Engineering.

AMS provides our employees with the opportunity to contribute to hands on projects and tasks in their area of interest/study. Opportunities exist for graduates in the following areas:

  • Radar Analysis/Simulation/Modeling

  • Hardware/Software/Firmware Prototyping

  • Missile Seekers & Sensors

  • RF Datalinks

  • Radar Integration

  • Algorithm development

  • RF hardware

  • HWIL support

  • Field testing support

Required Experience:

Desired Skills (position dependent):

C++, Python, MATLAB, Git, Software development skills in object-oriented programming principles, Agile development processes, electromagnetics, signals and systems, digital signal processing, and controls.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must be working toward Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in the specified above areas with a 3.5 or higher GPA. Candidate should upload a resume and unofficial transcripts.

Other Qualifications:

This position is for New Mexico State students or alumni.

Security Requirements:

Candidate must be a US-only Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
