4M Research MDA Future Architecture Assessment Engineer - CAG - Junior in Huntsville, Alabama

We are currently seeking a Senior Level Systems Engineer supporting MDA for our location in Huntsville, AL!

In this role you will get to support the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Defense of Guam (DoG) program office by performing technical analysis, evaluating test plans, evaluating models and simulations, and coordinating efforts of all elements and stakeholders supporting the DoG effort. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide technical analysis of the integrated Defense of Guam system and evaluation of various test events (flight and ground tests, System Integration Check Out events, and other Element unique tests).
  • Support test and engineering readiness reviews, technical interchange meetings, technology readiness assessments and levels, design reviews, production readiness assessments, manufacturing readiness assessments and levels, agile design processes, etc.
  • Assist in the development of Executive and MDA Leadership-level briefings, papers, and other products.
  • Support scheduled and impromptu status and communication briefs with various levels of senior leadership.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Master's degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of related engineering/system engineering experience
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Familiarity and experience with MDA and/or any components of the MDS (i.e. Aegis, Patriot, THAAD, C2BMC, etc.)
  • Experience with missile defense component development, test, production, and integration
  • Understanding of systems engineering practices and procedures. Experience with System and Element-level test planning from defining test requirements to data analysis needs through assessment and final checkout/delivery
  • Experience coordinating technical efforts from development to testing and analysis across multiple government programs and agencies
  • Experience developing and presenting briefings and other products to senior leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver products on schedule
  • Ability to travel to support oversight, meetings, reviews, etc.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Understanding of MDA Systems Engineering practices and procedures
  • Experience with the MDA Operational Capacity Baseline declaration process enabling timely delivery to the Warfighter
  • Experience with threat system capabilities and target capabilities able to define target requirements to adequately emulate operational threats
  • Experience coordinating, defining, and documenting requirements for multiple MDA systems
