Alamo Group Inc. Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Huntsville, Alabama

Under moderate supervision, updates, and assembles models and creates drawings in CAD software. Assists engineering team in creating product and process documentation. Creates and modifies item records, bills of materials, routes, and other setting in software system.

Assist engineers with required engineering expertise to complete design activities.

Assist with the development of layouts and design and/or modification in existing products, and information required for production use.

Use engineering tools to analyze design to meet requirements for strength, noise, functionality, ergonomics, safety and quality.

Assist with edits, updates, and assembling product manuals and customer support documentation.

Updates and or create CAD layouts in Solid Works platform.

Create and or update work instructions.

Assist with Lean transformation .

Knowledge of part drawings, assembly drawings, and design layouts.

Ability to design parts, models, and drawings in CAD software.

Working knowledge of Solid Works, Excel, and Word computer programs.

General knowledge of engineering design standards and manufacturing capabilities.
