Robins and Morton is looking for a Low Voltage Project Manager to provide transparent leadership and collaboration, ensuring we achieve customer satisfaction objectives. Specifically, the Low Voltage Project Manager will bring expertise in installing and testing structured cabling systems for voice, data and video applications. He/she will also lead trade partners installing and testing Nurse Call, Access Control, CCTV, BAS, Security, Paging, DAS and any other low Voltage System.

- Establish profit, time objectives, and Project Status Reports (PSR) for approval.
- Achieve all profit, time, quality and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Review and approve final estimates and budgets.
- Develop project bid packages and trade partner/vendor agreements for approval.
- Effectively negotiate agreements with trade partners/vendors in timely manner.
- Manage key risk management documents including trade partner bonds and insurance.
- Effectively evaluate and interpret all contract documents.
- Manage change order process for timely delivery to owner and trade partners.
- Manage cost reporting and tracking system and accurately forecast costs.
- Establish billing procedures and effectively manage billing process.
- Manage Owner Furnished Equipment verification and delivery process.
- Track and manage cost reporting of local jobsite accounts and field purchase orders.
- Manage closeout process (System Warranties, Customer Training, and other required documents).
- Manage document control and accurate storage in electronic filing system.
- Manage owner purchase order system (ODP) and owner controlled insurance or OCIP.
- Procure project permits with all necessary agencies.
- Positions managed by this role: Low Voltage Superintendent, Technicians, Installers, Helpers, Field Office Assistants, Project Assistants, and Jobsite Assistants.
- Develop and maintain Owner, Designer/Engineer, Trade partner, Vendor and Client relationships.
- Aid Low Voltage Superintendent in developing and managing scheduling process.
- Assist Low Voltage Superintendent in maintaining project quality control standards.
- Review bonding requirements with Low Voltage Group Manager.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job)
- Preferably, hold BICSI RCDD Certification.
- Ability to obtain RCDD Certification within one year of joining the team.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract documents, safety standards, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Preferably, working knowledge of Timberline Cost Reporting, Procore or other Project Management software, Accubid Estimating and VISIO software.
- Ability to lead an independent project up to $10M, or larger project under supervision.
- Advanced understanding o blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of industry safety procedures in accordance with OSHA.
