The OSS is seeking aJr. Program Analyst (Researcher)/Obsolescence Analystpositions supporting US Army Aviation and Missile systems. The work is based out of Huntsville, AL. The Analyst will generate sustainment, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), and obsolescence related data, as well as provide recommendations on sustainment risk mitigation on aviation and missile managed parts. The Analyst will identify and evaluate industrial base-related obsolescence and sustainment risks associated with military aviation and missile parts.
In this role, you'll provide predictive obsolescence research, mitigation strategies, technical analysis, and engineering recommendations. Youll work with Government, Industry, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to also verify and validate part numbers, part number availability, alternate part numbers, and national stock numbers for electronic parts and other components.
