Jesse Stutts, Inc. Electrician in Huntsville, Alabama
Seeking Electricians to join our team in support of our continuously growing contract demands in the North Alabama area as well as the Southeast, United States. Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician's license or equivalent work experience required.
Responsibilities:
Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems.
Troubleshoot motor and control systems.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.
Adhere to all quality and safety codes ensuring compliance and promote a safe work environment.
Must possess a good work ethic, have good attendance and excellent quality of work product.
Qualifications:
Previous experience and extensive knowledge in electrical systems and wiring.
Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to perform tasks effectively with little or no direct supervision.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
Prolonged periods standing, walking, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
Must be able to lift as much as 51 pounds at a time, with heavier requirements being met with assistance from lifting aids or co-workers. The salary range will be based on experience.
