BlueHalo is looking for aLead Electrical Engineerto join the NGCM team. The Lead Electrical Engineering role will work across a broad range of disciplines with an emphasis on product development, analysis and testing.

Responsibilities include developing and evaluating electrical circuit design efforts, scheduling and planning required tasks, leading and mentoring team and writing reports to support milestone reviews.

In this role you will:

  • Provide mentoring, guidance and direction to junior engineers from conceptual design through release of technical data package

  • Design, test, and/or integrate of electrical components, electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), or subsystems

  • Lead internal design reviews, and support major customer reviews

  • Assist with program schedule creation and hardware development planning

  • Develop engineering labor and material estimates

You’re required to have this

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • You must have a DoDSecretlevel clearance. If you do not have security clearance, you m ust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance

  • Have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience

  • Understanding and application of industry electrical engineering technical standards; demonstrated electrical component design experience

  • Experience with circuit design and application

  • Experience using analytical software tools, such as MATLAB or Python, to analyze and reduce data to identify key characteristics and trends

  • DOORS and/or CAMEO exposure

  • Demonstrated experience in electrical power distribution and design systems

  • Ability to interpret and develop electrical schematics

  • Experience with requirements-driven hardware design and circuitry design

  • Demonstrated expert-level understanding and application of electrical standards

  • Experience with classified test systems or systems subject to cyber security policies and risk management framework (RMF) engineering technical standards

  • Experience with analog and digital circuit design

  • Experience with printed circuit board design and layout using ECAD tools

  • Ability to present engineering materials for requirements, design, and various milestones

  • Experience evaluating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) parts for compliance

  • Experience Researching, developing, designing and testing circuits, components and equipment systems
