Oral Arts is a full-service family owned and operated dental laboratory. We manufacture dental prostheses, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, orthodontic appliances, etc. and have an immediate need for a Customer Service Specialist.

Description of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive incoming customer phone calls related to scheduling, pricing, billing, payments, and logistics.
  • Receive calls from new customers for new doctor kits.
  • Corresponds with accounts via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Responsible for the daily call list of cases that need more time from the doctor.
  • Communicate customer issues/concerns to appropriate management in timely manner
  • Tech service (looking up information or answering questions internally from supervisors, expeditors, etc)
  • Responsible for monthly Excel data collection as well as Excel charts
  • Print all shade photos and attach each to the appropriate case
  • Issues credit slips
  • Take Credit Card payments
  • Scheduling Out of Lab custom shades
  • Back up for scheduling In-town and FedEx pickups
  • Place orders for products, supplies or parts w/ the appropriate depts.
  • Calls for cases not meeting due date, shades needed, photos and simple dentist requests.
  • Schedule newly logged in cases and Rescheduling late cases
  • Some Log In- (3M cases)
  • Corrects log-in errors
  • Works closely with techs, expeditors, supervisors, and shipping to ensure strong communication (such as special alerts)
  • Runs reports for supervisors as requested
  • Responsible for New Doctor calls and Reactivated Accounts
  • Other duties as assigned

Required experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-focused position
  • Experience with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous dental experience including experience as a dental assistant, laboratory technician, or prior job experience in a dental implant manufacture company
