Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Force Operations Development Team Product Owner (PO) in Huntsville, Alabama

Overview

i3 is seeking an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Force Operations Team Product Owner (PO) who will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The PO will be responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the Force Operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team.

  • Work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint.

  • Provide technical briefings and advisement to leadership on status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Have a basic understanding of Force Operations (FO) concepts to include asset protection, development and analysis of courses of action (COA), operation plans and orders, and airspace control orders and measures.

  • Have the ability provide oversight to FO SW development team and verify the teams work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria.

  • Be able to work directly with the Agile software developers.

    The candidate must:

  • Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.

  • Be a US citizen.

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics.

  • Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

    Other Qualifications:

    An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiar with current FO implementations in one or more of the DoD services. Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.

    Security Requirements:

    Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
