Tri State Transit Experienced Mechanic in Huntington, West Virginia
Experienced Mechanic, preferably in the mass transit industry with Commercial Driver's License (Class B) needed to work on repairs / overhauls on mass transit vehicles for the peak operation of TTA. Duties include, remove unit (such as engine, transmission, or differential), disassemble and inspect part for wear, repair and replace parts, overhaul or replace carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters, and pumps, etc., preventative maintenance done very 3000 miles. This position requires written and verbal ability, including reading comprehension, to successfully complete the training programs deemed necessary by TTA; training may be performed in-house or by outside parties to increase knowledge base and skills.
