We’re searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our accounts receivable team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and good terms with our valued customers.

What the Accounts Receivable Representative job entails:

This position is responsible for all account receivable functions, which include providing financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate collections of past due invoices. Job responsibilities include:

  • Resolving client-billing problems promptly

  • Providing good customer service to all clients

  • Collect overdue customer payments.

  • Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management

  • Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports

  • Contact Customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.

  • Analyze billing variances and client inquiries to identify the root cause of the discrepancy

  • Process customer credit memos and refund requests

Requirements

Experience we are looking for:

  • Corporate Collections experience

  • Associates and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field – will consider related work experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience with accounting functions

  • Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Excel, Word, etc.), ERP and GL packages

  • Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills

  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and highly organized
