Mutual Benefit Group Fast-Track Claims Adjuster II in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania

The Fast-Track Claims Adjuster II investigates, evaluates, and resolves claims in an efficient and timely manner within an assigned authority level.  Claims will typically involve HO, PP, BA, BU, and AC policies.  Duties include provides telephone assistance to insureds, claimants, shops, and appraisers; compiles necessary documentation; ensures compliance with Unfair Claims Practices Act and Good Faith Claim Handling regulation; processes incoming bills, settles first- and third-party property damage claims within assigned authority limit and adjusts reserves; and performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed. 

Applicants must possess a demonstrated ability in dealing with people; demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient written and verbal communications skills; strong customer service orientation; demonstrated organizational skills; a general knowledge of insurance; and moderate computer knowledge. A high school diploma or general equivalency and a minimum of three years' experience in related position(s) are required.

Full benefits package, including PPO health, dental reimbursement, vision, 401(k) and Roth 401(k), and PTO, starts the first of the month following employment.
