The Department of Corrections (DOC), State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Smithfield is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Corrections Stock Clerk to join our dynamic team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will handle the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies within the institution's warehouse, commissary, or laundry facility. You will be responsible for training and supervising inmate workers in these tasks as well. Additionally, you will prepare regular reports and operate motor vehicles, fork lifts, or hand trucks for various purposes such as moving heavy items or making deliveries.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,664.00 (before taxes). One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience ; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:
