Here at the Mick George Group we are looking for a Welder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance work through various methods of welding such as MIG, TIG & ARC and to ensure work is of a high quality at all times.

  • Produce and interpret technical drawings.

  • Undertake fabrication duties to produce various required items such as catwalks, steps, skips and buckets.

  • Adhere to Company and legislative H&S procedures at all times.  

  • Production of RAMS for all works undertaken.

  • Refurbishment of wear material on shredders.

    Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Flexible and adaptable to ensure tasks are completed to meet the demands of the business.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Time Management skills

  • Highly organised with the ability to work in a pressurised environment

  • The confidence and competence to deliver against targets

  • Ability to prioritise work amidst challenging demands on time

  • Good knowledge of basic health and safety procedures

  • Basic knowledge and experience of basic welding techniques.
