Here at the Mick George Group we are looking for a Car/ Van Mechanic.

Responsibilities

  • To carry out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards

  • MOT Preparation

  • Take responsibility for allocated jobs while liaising with the small vehicle manager to ensure parts are ordered and delivered in a timely manner.

  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work

  • Minimise operational downtime

  • To ensure Company and legislative H&S procedures are followed at all times

    Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on a varied fleet of Cars and Vans

  • Ability to diagnose problems effectively and carry out necessary repairs.

  • To service vehicles in line with manufacturers recommendations to main dealer standard

  • Fault finding using electrical diagnostic equipment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence
