Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Safety Specialist to support their client on a program for The Architect of the Capital, a federal agency responsible for the maintenance, operation, and preservation of the Capitol Building. This individual will be responsible for:

Conduct training programs for existing and new policies and procedures

Performing site inspections to evaluate safety issues

Drafting safety policies, procedures, and other documents

Performing job hazard analyses

Supporting incident investigation and associated reporting and trend analysis

Reviewing safety regulations and assessing applicability; and other safety and occupational health related activities.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety and conducting safety training in construction, manufacturing, or heavy industry is required

Demonstrated mastery of a company safety training program and content delivery is required

Have experience performing site inspections to evaluate safety issues; drafting safety policies, procedures, and other documents; performing job hazard analyses; supporting incident investigation and associated reporting and trend analysis; reviewing safety regulations and assessing applicability; and other safety and occupational health related activities.

Have a strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements.

Possess solid written and oral communication skills

Fully Vaccinated

Clean background (Will be getting badged once hired) Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline

CSP (Certified Safety Professional) null
