Super Soccer Stars Coaching Part-Time Preschool & Youth Soccer Coach in Humble, Texas

Super Soccer Stars is seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Soccer Coaches. As a Soccer Coach, you will be responsible for delivering our best-in-class curriculum to small groups of children in a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment. With over 20 years of experience in youth educational soccer programs, we use the soccer ball as a vehicle to help children develop their soccer skills, self-confidence, physical literacy, gross motor skills, and socialization skills. Our program is designed for children from 12 months to 10+, and we offer classes, camps, private groups, afterschool enrichment, birthday parties, and team training.

As a Soccer Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives. Working alongside a dynamic team of coaches, you will lead a group of children through various soccer activities and games, using positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure each child feels confident in their own abilities. Our progressive lesson plans are built to every child's developmental needs, allowing kids to improve at their own pace.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver our best-in-class curriculum to small groups of children in a non-competitive and educational environment.

  • Create a fun and safe learning environment for all children in the program.

  • Teach an energetic and motivating class, connect and challenge each child, and help them to accomplish motor development goals and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits in in an organized, structure, and fun manner.

  • Effectively and clearly communicate issues to the office and provide solutions.

  • Showing up on time to class.

  • Act as a positive role model for children by exemplifying good sportsmanship and positive attitude.

  • Manage a group of children aged 12 months to 10 years.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular feedback on their child's progress.

  • Maintain and organize equipment, ensuring that all necessary tools are available for classes

  • Compensation starts at $20/hour and rates increase up to $30/hour

Requirements

  • Passion for working with children and a strong interest in soccer.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment.

  • Ability to lead groups of children and manage their behavior.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Must be able to pass a background check.

  • Availability must include the following: Monday 10:15- 11:30 AM, Wednesday 2:30- 4:30 PM, and Thursday 8:45- 11:0 AM. We are looking for someone who wants 6 hours for the Spring and Summer and up to 15 hours starting in August.
