Job Description An Assembler is responsible for completing the following tasks:

  • Perform all necessary assembly routines before and after equipment has been painted
  • Read and interpret blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles
  • Install parts and sub-assemblies prior to and after the painting process
  • Install drive and pulleys
  • Update paperwork to reflect any changes
  • Operate equipment safely - Overhead Crane, Ironworker, small Band Saw, Drill Presses, Jancey drills, Cutting Torch, and other equipment, as required
  • Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance of training certificate
  • Test-run completed equipment prior to shipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Read 1/8" , 1/16", and 1/32" gradations on tape measure
  • Convert feet to inches and vice versa
  • Welding experience helpful
  • Tool Identification
  • Exhibition of good communication skills when working with fellow employees
  • Attention to detail and quality standards
