Benefits eligibility is after 30 days! Position Duties: Able and willing to work in an industrial machine shop environment. Work effectively as a part of the Engineering team to manufacture, assemble, and test various aircraft components, balancing machines, and test articles. Lead and complete assigned tasks and projects to meet customer requirements. Resolve issues, report observations, and results to customers and engineers with high degree of quality and professionalism. Keep test facility and operational areas in order, maintain equipment, and work area in compliance with 5S protocol. Prepare and store necessary test documents in AS9100 standard. Requirements Must be a US citizen. High school diploma or equivalent. 5-10 years of experience with an industrial/mechanical background; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have strong mechanical background. Experienced with manual machining (Bridgeport mill, Lathe, etc.) preferred but not required. Basic electrical knowledge. Must be able to read engineering blueprints (mechanical required, electrical desired). Must be able to use tools such as torque wrenches and power tools. Strong computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc. Experience in SAP preferred. Some travel required, sometimes international. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand and sit. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Ability to use 500 ft-lb torque wrench. Must be able to work in an environment of various temperatures that can vary from very cold to very hot within reasonable limits. Being able to and available to travel to domestic and international destinations for work. Alcohol / Drug testing required-FAA requirement. Eye Exam-ISO Requirement.
