Logitech Summer Internship Program - Textile Development Intern in Hsinchu, Taiwan

The Role:

As an intern of our material innovation team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Industry Design and Material Engineer team to create the human centered gaming product. This is a paid 2 months internship based in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

Your Contribution:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of textile products, and prototype production as per requirements.

  • Participate in troubleshooting and optimization during textile manufacturing processes to ensure product performance and quality.

  • Collaborate with industrial designers, Material engineers, and manufacturers to ensure project progress and goal achievement.

  • Preserve records of the documentation used throughout the creation of the prototype, including problem tracking, design papers, testing reports, and assessment reports.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Familiarity in the principles of textile manufacturing processes and equipment, particularly in knitting (including warp knitting machines, circular knitting machines, jacquard machines, etc.).

  • Knowledge of textile materials and their properties, including fibers, yarns, and fabrics.

  • Familiarity with 2D/3D software for textile design and pattern-making.

  • Possess basic problem-solving skills and creativity, capable of actively contributing within a team.

  • Proficiency in communicating user research findings with cross-functional partners to drive impact.

Education:

• BA or MA in Textile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering related field
