Nvidia NPI Planner in Hsinchu, Taiwan

We are looking for a Chip New Product Introduction Planner, who is a driven individual that can excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment based in the Hsinchu Office. Part of the Silicon Operation team, the Hsinchu NPI team has always been entrusted to lead all production teams to meet all the key production milestones of NVIDIA's new chip products.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Act as a link between our NPI program managers and NVIDIA's contract manufacturers to craft an optimized production schedule for our new devices.

  • Monitor the WIP status daily to ensure the production schedule gets executed as planned.

  • Clarify and get alignment with owners on issues related to specs, business process, and data variance vital to executing the chip supply plan.

  • Host weekly status meetings with management and cross functional teams to highlight the overall health all the active new chip products.

  • You will monitor the contract manufacturers weekly performance on on-time shipment and cycle time hit the defined targets. You will analyze the weekly performance data and prepare an executive summary.

  • You will host a weekly meeting with the operations team senior management and go through the subcontractor’s overall performance. You will give our leaders proposals on how to remove roadblocks and solve issues with corrective action plan.

  • Partner with all stake holders on how to best enable the contract manufacturers to successfully carry out complex engineering experiments and fulfill the dynamic engineering unit demand.

  • It's NVIDIA's culture to keep striving for continuous improvement. After the conclusion of each NPI product, you will collaborate with all the project team members to identify the lessons learned and to formulate corresponding enhancement actions.

    What we need to see:

  • Years of experience: 7+ years working experience on semiconductor planning field.

  • BA of IE or Planning related or equivalent experience in semiconductor Planning.

  • Good communication, problem-solving, teamwork, detailed oriented, organizational, quantitative skills.

  • Proficiency in business software: MS office, excel VBA, excel macro, and SAP.

  • Language: Fluency in English is required.

  • Personality: Organized, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership is a must.
