Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team located in Ocean County, New Jersey. This role involves managing and processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications with a high degree of accuracy • Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis • Handle customer inquiries, providing timely and appropriate solutions • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required • Manage the entry and coding of invoices to the General Ledger (G/L) • Handle the opening and sorting of mail along with other assigned tasks • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Outlook for various tasks • Perform duties related to Accounts Payable (AP) • Manage the coding of invoices and process purchase orders • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks. Requirements • Must possess at least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) procedures • Experience in coding invoices is essential • Familiarity with the process of purchase orders is necessary • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are needed • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team • Must possess a high degree of detail oriented integrity and confidentiality • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
