Weekend Caregiver We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Caregiver to provide assistance and support to individuals who require care and assistance during weekends. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients during these times. Responsibilities: 1. Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as needed. 2. Assist clients with mobility needs, including transferring, positioning, and walking. 3. Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals and ensure medication adherence. 4. Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences. 5. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up client's living space. 6. Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. 7. Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members. 8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and any observations made during the shift. 9. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients, identifying and mitigating any potential hazards. 10. Collaborate effectively with other caregivers, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes for clients. Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in caregiving preferred. 2. Proven experience in providing care and support to individuals with diverse needs, such as the elderly, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness or injury. 3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals in a respectful and empathetic manner. 4. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. 5. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and commitment to providing high-quality care. 6. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. 7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. 8. Must be able to pass background checks and screenings as required by regulatory agencies.
