As a Buyer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely procurement of goods and materials essential for our operations. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing a wide range of products, while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Your keen eye for detail, analytical skills, and strategic approach will contribute to our company's continued success and growth.

  • The salary for this position is $175,000, commensurate with experience.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery speed.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the company.

  • Coordinate with managers and staff to understand procurement needs and requirements.

  • Generate purchase orders and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery.

  • Monitor inventory levels and track supply chain performance to ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting procurement.

  • Resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, and quality concerns in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information in the procurement system.

  • Uphold ethical standards and compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • 10 years minimum proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role, within the firearms industry.

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost-saving initiatives.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
