G-TECH Services, Inc. Warehouse Supervisor (Afternoon) in Houston, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations while maintaining strict controls over process and procedure - Oversee all staffing issues-attendance, vacation, daily assignment, etc

  • Work with other supervisor/salary staff to improve operations

  • Develop strong working relationship with UAW counterparts

  • Promote a safe working environment for all maintains a zero incident mindset

  • Proactively address all safety concerns in an expedient manner

  • Work with salary and hourly teams to improve safety culture and adherence to safety guidelines

  • Perform basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents

  • Maintain Quality Procedures to ensure the facility is functioning at highest levels

  • Develop and implement projects to improve quality and efficiency of operations

Skills Required:

  • Effective decision making

  • Ability to manage multiple systems daily

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees.

Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years warehouse environment/operations

Experience Preferred:

Supervised in an union environment

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred
