Second Wave Texas LLC77079 Stand-up Forklift Operator in Houston, Texas
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Stand-Up Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for various tasks related to loading/unloading, inventory control, warehouse management, and materials handling.
Responsibilities:
-Able to operate either stand up forklift, pallet jack, high reach cherry picker, RFC scanner, shipping and receiving - Perform inventory control activities, including receiving, counting, and recording incoming shipments - Utilize warehouse management system to track and locate products within the warehouse - Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move and stack materials - Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently - Ensure proper handling and storage of products to prevent damage or loss - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed - Perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment - Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous warehouse shipping and receiving experience - Proficient in operating stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required - Familiarity with warehouse management systems and rf scanners - Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is desirable - Excellent organizational and time management skills
THIS POSITION IS IN A COLD STORAGE ENVIRONMENT
1st Shift: 4:30am - 1:30pm. $13.00 hr
2nd Shift 1:30pm - 2:00am $14.00 hr
