Job Summary

Provide development, support, maintenance, governance, and technical architecture for Microsoft Power BI and SSRS enterprise reporting tools. Participate in the full life-cycle development process, leveraging BI expertise to architect effective solutions. Collaborate with DBA’s, ETL developers, and report developers to deliver business solutions and perform impact analysis for data structure and report changes. Conduct data analysis and modeling, develop standards and procedures, and ensure quality through comprehensive reviews. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop, maintain, and support Power BI and SSRS applications.

  • Lead requirement analysis, system design, and project estimation efforts.

  • Oversee programming, quality assurance, documentation, and system deployment.

  • Perform project setups, analyses, designs, and manage third-party applications.

  • Research and recommend advancements in software technology.

  • Supervise and mentor staff, allocating and monitoring tasks.

  • Analyze and debug production incident tickets.

  • Prepare development hours and cost estimates, contributing to project plans.

  • Provide training, guidance, and user support for reporting environments.

  • Design BI solutions with the data warehouse team and maintain reports as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science / computer information systems or related field or extensive applicable experience.

  • 3 + years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI.

  • 3 + years of experience working with enterprise data warehouse/BI projects.

  • 3 + years of experience working with SSRS & SSAS.

  • 2 + years of experience working with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).

  • 2 + years experience with Python programming.

  • 3 + years of experience working with Visual Studio developing complex Tabular SSAS models.

  • 2 + experience with Azure SQL.

  • 1 + year development experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating complex SSAS Tabular models using Oracle, SQL, SharePoint list and Excel data sources.

  • Experience creating Power BI reports with bookmarks, advanced filtering, drill throughs and multiple complex visualizations.

  • Experience with SQL Tools such as SSMS, Toad/SQL Navigator, SQL Developer.

  • Experience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.

  • Candidate must have a strong customer service orientation.

  • Physical Asset Management experience.
