We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of IT SR Analyst-Systems within the Advanced Analytics Enablement Team based in Houston, Texas.

As a member of this group, you will be responsible for the development of algorithms that analyzes large datasets, evaluation and implementation of modern analytics platforms and architecture such as Generative AI and Machine Learning.  This position will work closely with Data Scientist in Data Management & Analytics department along with Engineers in varying disciplines.  Candidate should be able to make changes to the algorithm, optimize algorithms to work on specific platforms, add data connectors to relational databases, and enhance algorithms to be used as part of a Visualization Tool. You will solve complex technical problems, optimize the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools, and troubleshoot problems. You will also be involved in all phases of conceptualization, design, development, and testing.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 1 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science
  • Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Oil and Gas industry expertise
  • Master’s degree in data science
  • Experience with Generative AI, Machine Learning services in AWS and/or Azure
  • Project management experience
