Qualys Senior Product Marketing Manager in Houston, Texas

The Position

Qualys is seeking an experienced product marketing manager/leader with excellent written and speaking communication skills to lead the Qualys endpoint and anti-ransomware go-to-market strategy as the Manager of Product Marketing - Endpoint Security.

In this role, you will build a marketing plan that is aligned with the product and GTM strategy, targeting the needs of the endpoint security, endpoint detection and response (EDR), extended detection and response (XDR) and managed detection and response (MDR). You will work closely with product team members to align product roadmap plans with customer requirements within both the private sector and federal and government space. You will aid sales teams by creating sales enablement materials that include but are not limited to, sales decks, RFQ formation and response, event speakership, and product demos. As appropriate, you will also play a role in aiding digital marketing and sales engineering to help drive the planning and tactics of our product marketing strategy. You will implement formal product launch plans and deliverables, research market trends, develop messaging per buyer personas, build supporting product demos, develop product collateral and sales tools, and present the products to prospects and c

What You Will Be Doing

Planned and executed product marketing plans, messaging, collateral, and sales tools. Be the expert on our buyers and their critical buying criteria, to build product collateral that resonates with our target buyer personas. You will create product presentations and sales tools that showcase the product for specific use cases and audiences. Designed, delivered, and trained the Qualys Sales Team on value-based demonstration of our products and created battle cards, playbooks, etc. You will research the competitive landscape, understand how our key competitors are positioned, educate, and equip our sales team with competitor analysis and value messaging guides and other tools as they require. Gather market intelligence, connect technology trends to Qualys products, and develop positioning and messages for critical current and future use cases. Create thought leadership content, including white papers, webinars, emails, presentations, etc.

What We Need From You

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity product management or marketing. 3+ years of experience with, or related to endpoint security, EDR, XDR, and/or MDR. Proven development of external-facing and enablement collateral. Exhibitable sales and marketing experience in the form of creating technical documentation and/or speakership appearances. Passionate about trying out new ideas to promote the product, testing hypotheses, and making data-driven decisions to course correct. Proven ability to effectively articulate and showcase technology for different use-cases, and to different types of audiences within the federal space. Self-starter with excellent project management skills who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative software company. Excellent command of written and spoken English.


Annual Salary Guidelines: $155,000 - $190,000
