The Seasonal Warehouse Associate will be responsible for coordinating on-site activities in the warehouse and store, which includes tasks such as receipt management, product stocking and shipping, order preparation and facilitation or purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors. This position serves as an entry point into our organization with potential for growth and advancement. Successful seasonal warehouse associates may be considered for full-time, permanent positions with benefits and paid time off.

Responsibilities :

  • Stage, ship, and receive parts, equipment, and supplies related to HVAC.

  • Maintain appropriate merchandise stock levels in the parts store.

  • Assist with inventory control and enter inventory data into the software system.

  • File material safety data sheets (M/S's), freight bills of lading, and equipment packing slips for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.

  • Handle freight claims for damaged goods.

  • Manage product receipts, conduct inspections, and ensure proper stocking.

  • Monitor inventory levels, identify and dispose of excess or obsolete inventory, and maintain inventory accuracy in the system.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Skills Required :

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with personnel and customers.

  • Ability to load and unload trucks.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Strong listening skills, ability to take direction, and coachable nature.

  • Awareness of safety protocols and willingness to enhance safety skills.

    Education and Experience :

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
