Job Summary:

Mission:

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the preparation of proposals based on customers incoming request for quotes. This person must have the ability to interpret customer's technical and commercial documents to ensure the quotations meet both company and the customer's requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the capability to quote all assigned products for the market Business Line served globally to customers per the go to market strategy service level requirements.

• Respond to customer phone calls and emails timely and professionally.

• Review incoming requests from the filtering team and/or direct from customer, review customer requirements including technical and commercial specifications and documents.

• Calculate price and discounts utilizing approved process and price lists.

• Coordinate with the appropriate costing/pricing authority when products or special adders are outside of the standard price lists.

• Provide solutions or offer alternatives to the customer inquiries that meet their requirements.

• Prepare and send quotations on time quotations that exceed the customer expectations.

• Cultivate friendly, personal relationships with key customers, learning their needs and preferences.

• Provide accurate and timely information to customers, field sales personnel, and other regarding orders, inquiries and other related activities.

The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.

  • At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated salary for this position is $35-$40per hour.
