Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Process Solutions. You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to implement industrial distributed control system projects by applying product knowledge while creating configurations, documents, and custom programming elements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop automation control systems based on client requirements.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation control systems and guidance to project teams and clients

  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and performance.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation control systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze control system requirements and design strategies to ensure successful project execution.

  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging of control systems

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

  • Document control system design, specifications, and test plans

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+years of experience in designing and implementing automation control systems.

  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, or SCADA systems.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard automation control software and tool

  • Develop and implement control system software, including programming and configuration

  • Travel required for the position

  • Conduct system integration and testing to ensure successful implementation

WE VALUE

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience with industrial process controls, process automation and optimization.

  • Knowledge of advanced control strategies and algorithms.

  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols.

  • Knowledge of platforms and virtualization, (Windows server/clients, VMWare), networking software and/or Cisco networks, and programming languages

  • Honeywell control systems experience, including ExperionPKS®

  • Strong problem-solving skills including ability to proactively anticipate requirements and identify/mitigate potential issues before they occur
