Position Summary: The Payroll/Billing/Receivables Manager participates in and supervises the completion and timely, submission of all payroll and billing. Coordinates credit and collection activities and all payroll, billing and receivables activities. He/She reports directly directly to the Administrator.

Qualifications: High School Diploma/ GED At least 2 years of experience in management and supervision of credit and collections, payroll and billing, and governmental billing procedures for home health care At least 1 year of experience in electronic data submission for payroll, billing, and accounting in the home health care field.

Responsibilities: Supervises and coordinates credit and collection techniques and completion of all necessary paperwork and data entry. Assures compliance with billing validation procedures prior to bill transmission. Manages credit and collection activities on past due accounts. Communicates with Administrator on all accounts receivable. Interviews and participates in all collection activities of problem accounts. Communicates with Administrator on all accounts receivables. Participates in the timely turnover of problem accounts to Collection Department. Supervises the completion of all required insurance payer forms timely. Supervises and follows up on receiving signed service agreements and deposits. Assures that acceptable collection goals are maintained. Maintains good rapport with institutional accounts receivable departments. Supervises clerical staff to ensure high quality performance standards. Projects a concerned, professional appearance towards departmental personnel and external customers. Establishes mutual goal setting and achievement standards. Maintains high visibility and availability per telephone while in the office. Assists Support Services Manager to assure that the office is operated effectively. Reviews and analyzes financial reports. Verifies and assumes that time slips are signed.
